Aéropop Revisited EP out now!

12/11/14 12:20 pm, Alex, Bergen, Norway

Hi, all! Aéropop Revisited has now been released worldwide (except Japan, where it's due out on Rallye Label December 13th), and is available on vinyl, CD and digital download through The Control Group (North America), Folkwit Records (UK), Klangkollektivet (Norway) and Aéropop Records (Rest of World). The EP features versions of tracks from Aéropop made by Sean O'Hagan, Andy Ramsay & Joe Watson, Orwell, Young Dreams, Dave LeBleu and Crookram and was mastered by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios. Having these wonderful musicians and producers working on my material has been truly inspiring and a real honour, and I do hope you enjoy the result! The physical formats are numbered and limited to 300 copies each, so be sure to get it while it's still available. :-) Here are some links to where the EP can be purchased: Outside the exclusive areas you can contact me directly at alexander(a) to buy your copy of the EP. There's also a beautiful new Aéropop T-shirt available here: Furthermore, this last weekend we celebrated the EP release with a full live band performance at Østre in Bergen, also featuring a solo set by Sean O'Hagan where we backed him on a few The High Llamas tracks, which was amazing! Here are some photos from that night: Have a great week, everyone, and many thanks for the support! All the best, Alexander

Thanks so much, Warren - I really appreciate that! I now have an online store up and running too, so both releases (and a new Aéropop T-shirt!) are available here:
